The Christian International School of Prague (CISP) partners with Interaction International and other organizations, universities, and colleges to provide student teaching opportunities for students pursuing degrees in the education field. The types of student teaching opportunities vary according to the availability and experience of CISP cooperating teachers and the courses offered in a given school year. Student Teachers are not financially compensated.
Time Frame: Student teaching can be up to three months during the first semester (end of August – mid-December) or during the second semester (January – mid-June). Most student teachers do not need to get a visa if they are in the country for less than 90 days.
Class Size and Age – Elementary: Class sizes at CISP range between 10-16 students. Instruction will be given to 1st through 5th-grade students.
Class Size and Age – Secondary: Class sizes at CISP range between 10-18 students. Instruction may be given to students in grades 6-12 (ages 11-19).
