Hello and happy holiday season! My name is Sweena. Joining me in this letter are Casey and Scott Tuminello. Between our two families, we have students from 1st through 12th grade enrolled at CISP!
We believe the Christian International School of Prague provides a uniquely biblical and academically excellent education. Through the devotion of our teachers, our kids have achieved new heights this year! Students are eagerly learning, developing extracurricular skills, and growing in their faith. We are excited to further support our students through the Investing in Excellence Campaign.
Our desire this year is to enhance the CISP experience for each student in the areas of music, art, and theatre. The campaign goal is bold: 925,000 Czech koruna or about $40,000 USD.
But do not fear; this amount is within reach! Last year, over 70 individuals gave a grand total of 883,875 Kฤ. Our school community is incredibly generous.
We have already made our initial gifts to this campaign, and so have members of the CISP Board and our worldwide community. We invite you to give during the campaign window of November 20 through December 22nd. Will you join us?
The following are examples of the special projects we hope to fund: 900 Kฤ would cover new hand drums and 9,000 Kฤ would allow us to purchase ukuleles for an entire music class. One theatre performance by the spectacular CISP Knight Lights costs 32,000 Kฤ. For our art students, we could buy eight ceramic art kits for 4,800 Kฤ, or 600 Kฤ each. Finally, a gift of 85,000 Kฤ equips CISP to install brand new counters and cabinetry in the Art Classroom!
